What are some ways to participate in MARC?

  • Use your real name when joining MARC—anonymity is antithetical to the aims of MARC.
  • Personalize your profile with pictures and information about yourself. 
  • Read and comment on MARC blog posts.
  • Start or contribute to discussion threads in MARChat.
  • Download and share content from bookMARCs.
  • Share stories or experiences that can bring personal perspectives to life.
  • If an incident or challenge arises at work which other members can learn from, please share it.

Our community is all about respectful communications. Please remember that sarcasm and jokes sometimes don’t translate well digitally. We also request that you follow the practices listed below when on MARC:

  • Don’t post content that is inappropriate for the workplace.
  • Be transparent and truthful.
  • Please create only one identity.
  • Never plagiarize.
  • Disclose conflicts of interest, affiliations, and personal agendas.
  • Favor honest commentary, rather than advertising and self-promotion.
  • Spread the word about MARC—help spark a movement for change!
