Arizona
Arizona may not have been on your adventure travel radar, but it should be. There’s so much to do in this amazing state. Fly into Tuscon or Phoenix and rent a car to get the most out of your trip. The two cities are not far apart.
There are many national and state parks worth a visit in this great state. Alaska

The Wild West
If you’re looking for adventure, take a trip to the wild west. Take a road trip through West Texas and into New Mexico. Here you’ll see scenery that is the backdrop for most western films.
Fly into Amarillo, Lubbock or Midland, Texas and rent a car. From here, there are a number of places to stop. You’ll definitely want to visit Big Bend National Park. This park sits on the Texas border with Mexico and offers many unique terrains for hiking and horseback riding.
Visit the Chisos Mountains or go deep into the Chihuahuan Desert. You can even cross into Mexico in the park. The park offers 150 miles of trails to explore.
