BTS’s say-all docuseries, “Break The Silence,” concluded with Episode 7 on May 28.
When their last “SPEAK YOURSELF” events wrapped up, each member started opening up on how they wish to be remembered by their co-members. Their answers will make you go “aww.”
RM
“I had wanted this before,” said RM. “I wanted people to depend on me and think I’m amazing. But I think I imposed myself around others as a way of not feeling lonely, particularly to the members.
“I just need them to feel exactly the same way that I feel for them in aspects of what everyone else reckons of me, or how I would like them to think of me. They are something like friends and family. I love that it’s positive. I think that will encourage us to stay together for a long time and walk together just like students who approach a pilgrimage somewhere.”
JIN
“Although I like laughing and might not look that serious outdoors,” Jin stated, “I want to be an emotionally dependable person. I want the group to be energized, and the members relax while they are struggling. You know, positive energy which isn’t too high, but which makes someone happy.”
SUGA
“I wouldn’t want any grandiose way for them to think about me,” Suga stated. “The humorous one, perhaps? I guess I am the observer, just like Adam Smith’s invisible hand. So I’d think of it that way.”
J-HOPE
“What do they think of me, you say?” Asked J-Hope. “It would also be great if they had thought of me as a special person. Nothing else is significant. ‘He is a special guy, really. Without him, we couldn’t. He has to be part of our squad.’ I would be very pleased and thankful if they were thinking about me like that.”
JIMIN
“For a little while now, they think I got funnier,” Jimin stated. “They are saying, ‘He got a lot brighter.'”
“Strangely enough, when I go to foreign countries, I appear to become mentally weak, and rather than phrases, whenever I see the members standing next to me on stage smiling and happy such as this one, that is truly soothing itself. They make me feel complete and not on my own whenever I am on stage.”
TAEHYUNG / V
“Playful person? I really like members’ silly names that they give me,” V stated. “They’re saying that I’m lethargic, but that’s who I am. This is why they decided to give me this nickname, I believe.”
“I don’t think it affects my character. Everybody would like to be deemed a playful guy, no matter what else happens or how old I become.”
JUNGKOOK
“The youngest member who causes trouble all the time,” Jungkook said. “I want everyone to believe that I am a good guy. ‘He is a good boy.’ I want to be considered as one indispensable to BTS.”
