 The Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE) is a US-based accrediting body in the field of Industrial Technology. Once an individual passes the standards required for Industrial Technology, he becomes a registered Industrial Technologist.

Technological development directly affects the industry. As technology evolves, so does the industry. As such, it gave birth to Industrial Technology. But how exactly does technological development affect the industry?

Between 1750-1850, cotton was the primary product of Great Britain. It improved the country’s economy and has changed the lives of its residents. The small-scale cotton industry from rural families was improved into a mechanized large-scale production. 

 Chemical Production

As the cotton industry boomed, making fancy designs out of the raw cotton material became common. Hence, people sought ways to produce artificial dyes to make colorful textiles. The application of Industrial Technology paved the way for the development of other chemical compounds. 

Transportation

The use of steam engines became common during the Industrial Revolution. As such, modes of transportations were powered by steam engines. It made the lives of people easier and made import and export transactions better. 

Modern Era

By the start of the 21st century, Industrial Technology has been used to make our lives easier. You can see its application almost everywhere.
