- Hannah Gadsby: Nanette: The less you know about hanna, the more you want to see the Netflix series. The power of is Gadsby’s bracingly funny in its exploration of sexuality, violence, and gender. The plot is an observational humor, but the way it acknowledges the overall structure of a stand-up set & upends to the devastating effect. This is a must watch of 2018.
- Homecoming: Adapted from the atmospheric and addictive podcast of the same name, this Amazon original is a part of 1970s paranoid trailer, a bit part of the military horror story. Creator of Mr.Robot, Sam Esmail directed ten episodes starting Julia Roberts as a case worker at a government mysterious facility that helps soldiers re-integrate into society. Homecoming is a meticulously story about trauma and memory.
- Big Moth: Netflix takes on puberty that turns out to be funnier and a bit more uncomfortable during the second time around. The half an hour animated comedy from Andrew Goldberg, Nick Kroll, Jennifer Flackett, and Mark Levin continued to subject the teen victims at a house of harmone-induced horrors. In short, it is a season that states an irrotational masterpiece.
- The Marvellous Mrs. Maisel: Followed by awards sweeping first-run, Amy Sherman Palladino’s vibrant & sharp-tongued comedy returned for a second season that brings in more magnificent elements. Magnificent performance as Midge, Rachel Brosnahan’s is an energetic 1950s housewife who figures out her true voice as a standup comedian, thus, remains the anchor of the show. Talking about Season 2, the show gave more breathing room to the entire plot. Marin Hinkle and Alex Borstein did justice to the show, thus making it a comedic element.
- My Brilliant Friend: Whilst HBO’s adaption of ‘Elena Ferrante’s Neapolitan Novels’ truly don’t supersede it’s source material; though, the series is a nuanced and faithful take on the largely interior books, the exquisite, and worth a watch from newcomers Margherita Mazzucco, and Gaiga Girace.

- One Day at a Time: Two seasons followed up, Netflix’s re-imagining of Norman Lear’s 1975 family-classic is a must watch. Heartwarming and hilarious, the focus of the show is on a close-knit Cuban American family in LA perfectly led by Justina Machado’s resourceful Penelope – veteran and a single mom. The touch of the show travels on the issue from racism & immigration to PTSD with subtlety & skill.
- Vida: A half an hour drama with television’s first ever all-latex writing staff heartfelt Vida and Starz’s vibrant is groundbreaking of all times. The gem of the show on Lyn and Emma is taking over all the focus.
